New Australian Owned Exhibition Company Wins AAAA 2017 Expo
Newly formed International Exhibition & Conference Group Pty Ltd (IEC Group) has won the right to manage the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo and Collision Repair Expo in 2017.
“To have the opportunity to organise such a successful industry event is a great win for our new company and we are delighted to work with the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) to achieve great results for them in 2017”, said Tony Francis, Managing Director, IEC Group.
Australian owned IEC Group will open its doors of their Brighton offices in July 2015. Although a new company, the combined exhibition and experience of its key staff is over 30 years. Tony Francis has worked on the AAAA Expo since 2004 with Informa Exhibitions Australia (formerly known as AEC).
The expo is an important event on the AAAA’s calendar and provides excellent forum for members to network, build new relationships and launch new products and services to the Australian marketplace.
“The traits that set IEC Group apart from the high calibre field of companies bidding for our Expo Management contract were their strong B2B background in the exhibition industry, the experience and reputation of key personnel and their history of working with industry associations” said Stuart Charity, Executive Director, AAAA.
“We were looking for a boutique Expo management company that was responsive to our needs and would work collaboratively with us to continually improve every aspect of our event and we have no doubt that IEC Group is the perfect partner to take our highly successful Expo to the next level” he said.
