The Collision Repair Expo 2026 will put the changing demands of modern collision repair front and centre, as workshops face increasing pressure to stay profitable while meeting higher repair standards.
Vehicles are becoming more complex — with increasing reliance on sensors, software and repair procedures — fundamentally changing what’s repairable, how long jobs take, and how confidently work can be quoted. At the same time, rising costs, skills shortages and insurer expectations are placing further strain on workshop performance.
Taking place 14–16 May 2026 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, the Collision Repair Expo is the largest event for the collision repair industry in Australia and is designed to help collision repair businesses respond to these challenges with practical, real-world solutions.
The Expo is a must-attend for collision repairers looking to stay competitive, giving workshop owners and managers direct access to the tools, training and technologies needed to improve efficiency, reduce costs and protect profitability in an increasingly complex repair environment. For repairers, it delivers hands-on exposure to the latest repair techniques, equipment and processes — practical knowledge that improves repair quality, builds confidence and keeps skills aligned with modern vehicle requirements.
The Collision Repair Training Program, which will run across all three days of the Expo delivers free sessions focused on threats and opportunities in the collision repair industry as well as leadership and business improvement, led by respected industry expert Sam Street, Editor of Australasian Paint & Panel, and internationally renowned collision repair business trainer Robert Snook, Business Success Global (UK) — providing practical insights that workshop owners and managers can apply immediately.
On the show floor, the emphasis shifts from theory to application. The exciting new I-CAR Welding Zone will showcase the critical role of welding competency in modern collision repair. Technicians can refine their skills using a virtual welding simulator with real-time feedback, alongside live demonstrations of correct setup, safety and OEM-aligned repair methods.
ADAS capability is crucial to collision repair and will feature strongly at the Expo. A dedicated ADAS-focused business training session will translate the new national ADAS Industry Code of Conduct into practical workshop processes. This is supported by the ADAS Training Zone on the show floor, delivering expert-led demonstrations, specialist advice and access to the latest calibration equipment, with free sessions led by international ADAS specialists Keith and Liz Perkins from L1 Automotive Group (USA).
Refinishing will feature heavily at the always popular Lowbake Spray Booth, where live demonstrations will highlight the latest advancements in paint systems, curing technology and application methods.
The Expo floor will provide the opportunity to explore and engage with the biggest collision repair brands, experience the latest workshop equipment— including chassis alignment systems, advanced measuring technology, plus tools technology, paints, business software systems and much more.
With a strong focus on practical training, real-world application and unrivalled networking opportunities, the 2026 Collision Repair Expo provides repairers with the tools and knowledge needed to keep pace with industry change.
