One Week Until Australia’s Biggest Collision Repair Industry Event Opens Its Doors

With just one week to go, excitement is building for the Collision Repair Expo 2026, Australia’s largest collision repair industry event.

Co-located with the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo and proudly sponsored by SAPE Group, the Expo will bring together thousands of industry professionals at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 14–16 May, showcasing the latest in repair technology, tooling, paint, consumables, equipment and business solutions.

The Expo combines a major trade show with free industry training, live demonstrations, networking opportunities and hands-on learning designed to help repair businesses stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry.

The free Collision Repair Training Program, featuring respected local and international experts, will deliver practical advice business owners and managers can apply immediately to strengthen performance, plan for the future, and adapt to industry change.

Sessions will be led by internationally recognised collision repair business trainer Robert Snook from Business Success Global (UK), alongside Sam Street, Editor of Australasian Paint & Panel.

The Expo floor will also feature interactive areas including the ADAS Technology Zone, with free sessions and live demonstrations led by internationally recognised ADAS experts Keith and Liz Perkins from L1 Automotive Training (USA), focused on calibration processes, sensor systems and best-practice repair procedures. As ADAS systems become embedded across the modern vehicle fleet, the Zone will provide valuable insight into the processes, equipment and capabilities collision repair businesses increasingly need to understand.

The new I-CAR Welding Zone will showcase the importance of welding competency in modern collision repair through live demonstrations and a virtual welding simulator providing real-time feedback on welding technique and performance.

The popular Lowbake Spray Booth will give Expo goers the chance to see live refinishing demonstrations showcasing the latest spray-painting techniques, products and equipment used to improve finish quality and workshop efficiency.

Visitors will also experience live exhibitor demonstrations, new product launches and the latest innovations in repair equipment, refinishing systems, workshop technology and collision repair processes from Australia’s leading suppliers and global brands.

“Held only once every two years, the Collision Repair Expo is the premiere event for the collision repair industry,” said Stuart Charity, AAAA CEO. “There is so much to see, do and learn — from the latest repair technology to free world-class training and networking that can help grow businesses and further careers.”
