International and Australian industry leaders will converge at the Collision Repair Expo to deliver a
dedicated collision repair training program focused on building capability, improving business
performance, and preparing repairers for the future.
As Australia’s largest collision repair industry event, the Expo offers a comprehensive training
tailored specifically for bodyshops, repair professionals, and industry leaders, alongside the
technologies shaping the future of vehicle repair.
Proudly sponsored by SAPE Group and co-located with the Auto Aftermarket Expo, the Collision
Repair Expo will be held from 14–16 May at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. The co-
located Expos are expected to attract more than 13,000 industry professionals from across Australia
and beyond, bringing together the full breadth of the aftermarket and collision repair sectors.
The exclusive collision repair training program features respected industry voices with deep insights
into collision repair operations and industry trends. Robert Snook (UK), CEO of Business Success
Global, brings decades of experience helping collision repair businesses improve efficiency,
profitability, and performance. He is joined by Sam Street, one of Australia’s most influential
collision repair commentators, whose 35-year career as an automotive journalist and editor provides
a unique, bird’s-eye view of bodyshop operations, workforce challenges, and industry direction.
The training program includes a strong business management focus designed to help repairers build
sustainable, future-ready businesses. Sessions will cover leadership skills, avoiding the race to the
bottom on price, understanding business lifecycles, identifying threats and opportunities in the
collision repair industry in 2026 and beyond, and creating systems that allow owners to step back
while maintaining control.
A dedicated ADAS-focused business session will turn the ADAS Service and Repair Industry Code of
Conduct into practical shop-floor processes. The session explains when validation versus calibration
is required, highlights the five critical ADAS touchpoints — glass, tyres and alignment, suspension
and ride height, body and structural repairs, and software — and outlines the minimum
documentation needed to remain compliant and protected.
ADAS capability is further supported through the ADAS Training Zone on the Expo floor. This free
zone provides expert-led demonstrations, specialist advice, and access to the latest ADAS calibration
equipment, helping workshops understand best-practice workflows required to return vehicles
safely to the road.
A major feature of Collision Repair Expo 2026 is the live Lowbake spray booth, combining practical
information sessions with demonstrations of the latest paint systems and refinishing techniques
designed to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput.
Technology is a central focus across the Expo, with the top exhibitors showcasing advanced solutions
spanning paint and refinishing, panel repair equipment, workshop tools, and integrated software
systems that support estimating, workflow management, and quality assurance.
Beyond training and technology, the Expo provides valuable opportunities to connect with peers,
suppliers, trainers, and industry leaders across three days.
Registration for the Collision Repair Expo 2026 and co-located training sessions is free, making it a must-attend event for repairers, and
bodyshop business managers and owners focused on staying competitive and future-ready.
